Welcome to the DBsign installation page
Why Am I Here?
You have reached this page because you want to use DTS. Before DTS can be used, JRE 1.5+ must be installed and applet support must be configured in the web browsers.
Please note: Installing JRE 1.5+ requires administrator privileges. If you do not have administrator privileges on your computer or are unsure, please contact your site administrator.
What is DBsign?
DBsign is security software that is used in DTS to authenticate users and to enable them to digitally sign travel documents. DBsign includes a Web browser control that supports the access of a DTS user's credentials stored on, for example, a floppy or a Common Access Card.
How do I install JRE 1.5+?
1. Download and install JRE 1.5+ (any latest version) from Sun Microsystems site.
2. Configure the web browser for java applet support. Lookup the web browser documentation for the configuration.
3. Restart your browser after installing JRE 1.5+. (Make sure to close all browser windows)
4. Relogin to DTS and you will be prompted to grant permissions for running DBsign applet.
5. DBsign is now configured properly and should be ready for use.
